Try this gorgeous beef tagliata with herbs for a special occasion. It is a real treat!
Ingredients
- Rosemary, Fresh, 25 g
- Sage, Fresh, 15 g
- Thyme, Fresh, 15 g
- Beef, Silverside, Raw, Lean, 400 g
- Garlic, Raw, 20 g
- Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 5 Tbsp
- White Wine Vinegar, 1 Tbsp
Instructions
Remove the rosemary stalks and chop the leaves finely, together with the garlic, sage and thyme. Heat the vinegar in a small saucepan, add the chopped herbs and continue to heat through for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, remove from heat and beat in the Extra Virgin olive oil. Brush the meat with some of the marinade. Heat the grill or a grill pan. Grill the meat for at least 10 minutes, turning it frequently and brushing it occasionally with the marinade. Remove from heat and leave it to rest for 5 minutes. In the meantime pour the remainder of the marinade in the grill pan and bring to the boil. Remove from heat. Slice the meat thinly and place on a serving dish with a salad. Pour the cooked marinade over the meat and serve immediately. To complete the meal, accompany with some roasted vegetables, bread and fruit. Alternatively accompany with a mixed salad and/or a side dish of fried courgettes cut into small strips.
